I’m Angela Gillis and I love photography. I became interested in photography many many years ago in high school. After toying around with a camera, I decided that it was something I would want to do in life. I went on to college to study journalism with an emphasis in photojournalism.

And that’s the approach I take to my photography. I am not a studio photographer that will set up lights to give you a traditional portrait look. I love to capture people in their environment using natural light. Taking those candid shots is what I do and enjoy out of photography. Capturing a moment that someone else might not see or even showing you a moment in through my perspective are some of the greatest things about being a photographer.

Photography is a personal experience and if you choose me to shoot your event or family, I will take the time to form a personal relationship with you to better capture the essence of your event or family. Each moment is truly a blessing and I would like to capture those moments for you.

I am available for events throughout the Golden Triangle and Southeast Texas.
